Every exhaust system, AirGate intake, intercooler, and heat exchanger ships in original AWE packaging with full warranty documentation and the AWE limited lifetime warranty intact. AWE counterfeits are uncommon — the in-house US manufacturing and complex T304L stainless construction make replicas economically unviable — but gray-market and pulled-from-wreck parts do circulate on auction sites at suspicious prices, typically with no warranty support and questionable installation history. Authorized purchasing keeps your lifetime warranty valid, gives you access to AWE's tech support for fitment questions, and ensures the system you receive matches the spec it was designed to.
Most in-stock AWE Tuning items ship within 1 to 3 business days from AWE's Pennsylvania facility or our US warehousing. Popular Audi (S3, S4, S5, RS3, RS5), Porsche (911 Carrera, Cayman, Macan), VW (GTI, Golf R), BMW (M3, M4, G2X), and Toyota GR Supra exhaust applications are typically stocked. SwitchPath™ valved systems, 0FG straight-pipe exhausts, AirGate carbon intakes, and less common applications may have a 1 to 3 week lead time as AWE builds them to order in Pennsylvania. We confirm exact availability and ETA at order placement, and AWE provides tracking the moment your system ships.
AWE Tuning offers a limited lifetime warranty on most exhaust systems and intakes — one of the strongest warranties in the performance aftermarket, where 2 to 3 year warranties are the industry norm. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for unused and properly installed components, with no time limit on the original purchaser. Returns on unused, uninstalled exhaust systems, intakes, and intercoolers in original packaging are accepted within 30 days. Once an exhaust has been installed, intake has been mounted, or any system has been put into service, items are no longer returnable. Defective products are covered directly through AWE Tuning, and Kami Speed processes warranty claims on your behalf.
AWE Touring Edition is the daily-driver exhaust — features AWE's patented 180 Technology® drone-canceling resonator that eliminates the highway boom most aftermarket exhausts produce. Refined, deep, OEM-plus tone with zero cabin drone at cruise. Track Edition removes the resonator entirely — louder, more aggressive sound throughout the RPM range, designed for spirited driving and track use where drone matters less. SwitchPath™ is the best of both worlds: an electronically valved system that switches between Touring (closed valves, quiet) and Track (open valves, aggressive) modes on demand, controlled via the included AWE Tuning SwitchPath Remote. Honest recommendation: if you commute daily, get Touring with 180 Technology. If your car sees mostly weekend and track duty, Track Edition delivers the most engaging sound. If you want one system that handles both, SwitchPath is worth the price premium. The 0FG straight-pipe is for committed track-only builds and is loud enough to fail most municipal sound ordinances.
